Today, after 17 years of cinema, I have this great wish to continue meeting people interested in sharing their know-how with us, so that FESTIVALISSIMO, the ibero-latin-american festival of Montréal, can keep on increasing its level of competence, because nothing should ever be taken for granted, and in so doing continue this great adventure by offering you the best our cinema has to offer.
I owe this year’s programming to very competent people, and mostly, to people that are passionate about cinema and that have shown me how much it is important to live our passions.
A big thank you to our volunteer workers, to the team of FESTIVALISSIMO, and a huge thank you to our dear public who has, year after year, encouraged us by its presence to keep on going.
